As person whos 5 year aniversary of my first oneshot playtrough i pretty soon, i want to reflect on oneshot as a game and a fandom, the good and the bad.

First of all, oneshot is a good game BUT, i do not think it is "the best game ever".

Like yea, the concept of a game is cool. The plot is... alright, not the biggest fan of it. The character design is realy good, also the ost is amazing. But oh god, the puzzles are not good... when i was playing oneshot for the first time, i hated every single puzzle. Like listen, im not that dumb i swear (or at least i hope so), but most of the time i had to look up a guide. But overall, oneshot is a light 8 out of 10, it is a good game, but not the best.

Now, lets talk about fandom, and oh man do i have something to say about it..

Listen, overwhelming part of oneshot comunity (like 60%) is normal, but still there are many bad apples in here.

Like The real pancake caffe.

As much as i know, they said some pretty terrible things.

I could spend days talking about bad people i had to interact in oneshot fandom.

I had people send me NSFW "artworks" of niko. I even had to ban a guy from my server for sending fetish art of niko... there once was a russian oneshot discord server called "oneshot is peak" but i think its gone now. And some of the head admins there werent good people...

Also i feel conflicted about oneshot reddit, like if i open the r/oneshit sub the first thing i see is a drawing calamus as a femboy.

But why should we focus on the bad part of the fandom?

There are still talanted people like Nevermindslol, rob, etc..

There are many other musicians, artists who keep my faith in this fandom alive.

In conclusion:

do i think oneshot fandom is bad?

Kinda but not realy.

I am probably not going to quit the fandom beacuse my friends will always make me come back.

It is 01:12 for me as of writing, i should go to sleep
