Recently Moved to Berkeley – Looking to Get Involved in the Community

I recently moved to Berkeley and live across from San Pablo Park. I've been spending my time exploring the city, learning about the different neighborhoods, and getting a feel for the community.
Professionally, I work in banking, but I'm not here to advertise anything. I genuinely enjoy helping people understand financial topics and making complex things easier to navigate.
If anyone ever has general questions about banking, credit, debt management, small business banking, or financial planning, I'm always happy to share knowledge and point people in the right direction.
More importantly, I'd love to meet new people, make friends, and become part of the community. If you have recommendations for local events, volunteer opportunities, coffee shops, hiking groups, sports leagues, or other ways to connect with people in Berkeley, I'd love to hear them.
