Midwest WW1 Events and Units

Are there any WW1 units around the Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, South Dakota area??? I know a few guys who are interested in getting into reenacting that period but we only know of the Rockport IL event out in the area and are not sure of any more local units to us. Everything seems to be far east and west coast.

1870's Nebraska Plains

Few photos from over the weekend at Fort Hartsuff, celebrating the 150th anniversaries at the fort. This year, celebrating the "Battle of the Blowout" and funeral for the Sgt who lost his life that day. The fort was an active infantry post from 1874 to 1881 to protect settlers moving west and the Pawnee tribes in the area. Beautiful example of a plains fort.
