Hello again guys! After a bit of thinking since my last post on this thread I found out you can play games on the ps2 slim using a PC. From what I've read online it doesn't need much to work but I want to ask you guys too since maybe there are users out here that play the ps2 slim using a network connection to load Iso's from the PC over network. For those who already have this setup, is it convenient? Are there some sort of complications? For those who just play the PS2 I wonder what is the best PS2 slim setup from your perspective.

(Note: I've had suggestions to just buy a PS2 phat and use it with a hard disk but I can't really seem to find an ide to SATA adapter that easily here and a hard disk to put in the ps2, I've heard the smb setup has good load times and basically unlimited space for games since you have them on a PC or other kind of platform).

Hi! Recently I've learned that now you can burn DVDs at home using freedvdboot to be able for the PS2 to play them and I was wondering what would be the best PS2 model that i should look for. From other posts I learned that the 7900x and the 9000x are the best options I could have but I was wondering if there are maybe other models that could work just as well as them. Sadly, I'm limited to a few models (I'm from Romania and I have to buy one on the second hand market) and the one I find the most for sale here is the 90004 and the 7000x and a few 7700x. I'm not interested in any modding, just burned DVDs or maybe even original CDs that I can buy. Thank you in advance for your time and answers!
