I am trying to understand what my options are for getting a landline these days. It would mostly be for kids to use. What's the recommended way to set these up these days? And I am wondering if there's a way to get a new line that wouldn't be plagued with robocalls and scammers, or if that will inevitably become part of its reality no matter what. I've seen an option where you can reject the robocall, which doesn't quite work for us as we just don't want the phone to be ringing at all unless it's a legit call from a friend or family member. Possible? Any ideas?

Meanwhile, my cell phone is also plagued by spam...
