Squad/Team Leaders question

Played my first game of BA last night. Have played a fair bit of Chain of Command, so already got a decent collection for 1940 Blitzkrieg (photos of game attached). The BA rules seem tight and clear in most cases. The only thing I've not been able to get straight is re squad leaders (p. 72 of rules): There's a morale penalty for losing the leader, but generally you choose your own casualties. I know snipers negate that, but is this the only case? Is this -1 penalty purely there for snipers? On p.72 it also states that artillery crews and infantry weapon teams also have leaders, but I can't see this in the lists. Although infantry squads are generally listed as e.g. 'NCO + 4 men' all the artillery and support weapons entries just say e.g. 'Team: 3 men'. So what am I misunderstanding here?

Hi, my wife's inherited her dad's Cube ebike, it's got a Bosch Intuvia 100 control unit on the handlebars. We can't work out how to get it off (her dad just left it on all the time). Online instruction manuals say just twist it anticlockwise, but there is zero movement in this thing, feels like we'll break it if we twist hard. Are we missing anything? Are some of these devices permanently fixed to the bike? Pic of rear of the control unit attached.
