ECE OR CSE AND VIT OR AMRITA
I am from tamilnadu and got approximately 91.8%ile in jee mains and 12954 rank in viteee and 2929 rank in aeee also i am from obc ncl category with under 1 lakh family annual income bracket.
At vit course counselling i got ece at vit chennai in fee category 2 and it seems from google that i can get ece at amrita coimbatore for fee category 1.
But placements in amrita are often hidden and in vit too it seems that 3 to 5 lpa is most common though combined average is about 8 to 12 lpa for ece at vit chennai.
Also i have a board exam cutoff of 171 in PCM and my father's friends at anna university trichy said that 172 was the historical cutoff for ece and this year it will drop for sure and i might get ece there but not cse.
I am afraid if my choice of ece is wrong and confused over the college to choose since the placements are dropping im every college and job opportunities are also getting less.
I want you to kindly assist me ro choose a college which is worth for money spent with good placements and packages and a course in it which provides a promising future out of anna university trichy , vit chennai , amrita coimbatore and any other colleges which i may not know but are worth it.
