NYC CoS Salary

Out of curiosity how much is a Chief of Staff salary in NYC? Specifically finance/PE? Being encouraged to take on the position while also being office manager and keeping my EA responsibilities to the CEO and team.

Am I crazy??

I support a team of 9. And everyone thinks they are a priority!!!! I really need to vent😭 so I’m in office M-Th and wfh on Fridays. I always go in on Fridays if I we have a major in person meeting. However if we have portco people just using our office or anything where assistance is not needed, I don’t go in. Unless specifically told to do so. This time around I was ask to go in to let these people into the office only. I said if I can’t I’m able to at least let them in remotely. Which is what I did. I then got an email from my boss saying that if anyone is in on Fridays I should be in to. But my contract says Fridays are WFH. I also have been doing work outside my day jobs to help myself get a promotion mind you. That they encouraged me to do.

I love my team because when needed I do get help if I need to leave early for an appointment etc etc. but overall everyone wants things done without telling me as if I can read minds or something. I pride myself on being able to anticipate need but in the end of the day how am I supposed to know if someone woke up on a Friday and decides to come in! I spoke with a teammate and they told me it is unfair and that I always go above and beyond. So I know I’m good at my job but why am I feeling crazy.
