Pretty sure the pet store told me the first gerbil I bought (left) was a boy and it is actually a girl. I bought another today (right), which is supposed to be a boy. Can you verify their genders?
Hi guys. I recent purchased my first ever gerbil and I’m not too familiar with rodents. I grew up with dogs mainly.
I researched before purchasing and consulted with employees at the pet store. Do you guys have any advice? Also, is strictly white paper good bedding?
Me and Charlie would appreciate your guidance greatly!
Edit: Went to the store and got another one. Also picked up some aspen bedding to mix with the paper. Thank you all for the comments ❤️
Edit 2: Just discovered the original gerbil is a female despite being told he was a boy.
