fall foliage gets hyped up here in vermont, but spring ephemeral season is my favorite. everything is growing quickly with the warm weather and short season. found this seedling near a path that was trampled on by dirtbike kids, who are also eager to get outside.
a little overexposed but it was fun to collect and make a print without much forethought.
having a lot of fun with solarfast! lots and lots of oopsie moments throughout the past few weeks but getting better each time. ive created about 25 garments to sell at my friend's vintage shop - super fun to get creative and sell them. Ive been loving it more than using traditional chemicals on fabric.
still having a few issues with bleeding - maybe im not washing enough or correctly? these looked great but still had some unexposed hidden dye in it so its a lovely shade of light blue now. looks cool but would rather control what I can. any tips appreciated! ☀️
