Ultrasound shows Fatty Liver.
Okay, I started itching out of nowhere pretty much all over my body about a year ago. Went to the Dr. and they really couldn’t diagnose it but gave me an antihistamine that took the itching away almost immediately. I was taking one about every 3 days. Cut to June 10th of this year I cut out pop and the itching completely stopped, but it still flares from time to time when I eat pizza. Like Greeks pizza, Chicagos pizza and Papa John’s specifically. And also around the beginning of June, I noticed my right calf, in between my calf and my ankle, was just a little swollen. October 2nd after a dr appointment thinking my gallbladder was messed up due to soft stool I had an ultrasound and was diagnosed with a fatty liver. I am freaking myself out seeing itching and swelling being late stage side effects for cirrhosis. I am waiting to hear from the liver specialist but has anyone else had these symptoms? I am overweight but not grossly so. I realistically need to lose 30-40 pounds. Also, the swelling in my leg has not gotten worse but has not gotten better. I guess I’m just looking for anyone that has had similar symptoms and what the diagnosis was.
