Not just in covers but also in comms since the only comm that's not 4 humans and a vocaloid is Nijiro Stories (it's 2 humans and vocaloids instead) but unfortunately Colorful Palette said they won't do a song like that ever again. We also didn't get any new duet covers in many years.
Having all members sing the focus songs regardless of the character or unit feels a bit idol-esque compared to the Vocaloid versions of the songs which are solos and duets etc. I don't hate it but kinda wish it was more varied like with World Dai Star. That one has plenty of solo and duet original songs some of which even have 3DMVs.
