I finally got a job offer, but the salary is horrible. It’s hourly at $10 an hour, and with my experience it honestly feels like a slap in the face. I tried negotiating and he said no. I’m a hardworking, adaptable person with experience across customer service, communications, and content creation. I’ve worked as a host, camp director, and receptionist, which has given me strong organizational, communication, and people skills.
I’ve also completed four internships in public relations, where I supported communications, media outreach, and event work, including working events for Miami Swim Week. I currently work as a UGC creator and have created viral content for brands including Quizlet.
I’m open to any role. I just need a job.
