Matadora : should have been a song for Natty Natasha
I really enjoy the song, it’s my favourite from Karol G’s new album (which is not her best tbh). But I keep thinking that this song has the vibe of Natti in her prime, i.e her album illuminati. It reminds me of Obsession, her best song if you ask me, the melody and also a little bit the lyrics. I don’t want to demean Karol G, quite the opposite. She has achieved something very big with Tropicoqueta. I admire how much she has grown. On the contrary, Natti has disappeared. Back in 2016-2019 she was the lead reggaetonera in the industry and had a path in front of her which could have led her to somewhere not far from where Karol G stands today. I guess the arrest of Piña is likely the main reason why she became almost MIA. Anyway, just to say that I remain nostalgic of Natty.
