Carl Zeiss Jena 6X30 Russian (?)
Hello everyone. I just went to the military surplus and found these sick binoculars. The right eyepiece is missing but it came with the original leather case and got them for cheap (50 CAD$). I did a bit of research to identify them but I can't seem to find a perfect match. I saw that they are a match with the Silvamar model, but none of the ones I found have the russian text on the right, plus the serial number doesn't match anything I managed to find.
I also know that there is a fair share of fakes in the market, but where I found them and the wear seems to tell me they're real.
They don't seem to have a coating on the lenses, since there is no colour in the reflection, indicating it's an earlier model.
I'm literally brand new to this field, as these binoculars are my first experience with such equipment and I am really interested in finding out more about them and their history. If you have corrections or rectifications about my findings feel free to share them.
And lastly if some of you can help me find a replacement eyepiece it would be much appreciated, or guide me to find one.
