Out of interest would this be considered an imperial topaz?
I find the colour characterisation of topaz extremely difficult. What actually is an imperial topaz?

Thick black line on my sapphire
Hey all, have this beautiful natural untreated sapphire but wondering what this thick black line is and if I should be worried? Is it a deep fracture and if so does that mean it can’t be mounted?
