i make Tonebook, an ios app that reads your personal color palette (your 12-season type) from a selfie, then helps put outfits together from your closet. it's usually a subscription but i've got 1-year free codes and this felt like the right sub for them. it's an actual free year, not a trial that auto-charges. it just expires when the year's up.
the part i actually want feedback on: most "AI tells you your season" apps will confidently give a different answer every time you retake the photo in different light. i spent most of the effort making tonebook do the opposite. it shows a confidence level and tells you to retake the shot when the lighting's bad instead of just guessing. consistent when the photo's clear, honest when it isn't.
solo dev, so brutal feedback welcome, especially on whether the color read matches what you'd expect for yourself.
