Need some advice
I’m in the process of trying to remove my valve cover so I can replace the gasket. Getting the nuts off of the valve cover wasn’t an issue but I’ve been having a hard time trying to get it out and I’m seeking advice on what the best path to take is. I was originally trying to remove the bracket that holds the cruise control diaphragm so I could get that solid vacuum hose out of the way but there is a bolt connecting it to the engine that is hard to get to and I’ll likely have to remove the distributor to have a chance of removing it. Not sure if I’ll have to remove the AC unit as well or if just removing the AC unit would be easier. Overall, I’m just not very experienced with this stuff and would greatly appreciate some thoughts on how I should try to tackle this problem. Any advice is appreciated.
