Need Help

I desperately need help in setting up plex. I've been trying to get plex to function properly for the past few days to no avail. While it functions locally, I can't seem to get it to work outside my network despite plex saying it should.

With my current setup I have all my media located on an external hard drive connected to my PC. My PC is connected to a TP-Link AC1900 Wi-Fi Range Extender RE550 via an ethernet cable.

when connected to my internet via an ethernet cable I am unable to setup port forwarding. I have spectrum internet and when I got to myspectrum and go to my router's port forwarding tab i can find my computer's IP to set up port forwarding.

On the port forwarding list I do see two TP-Link Wi-Fi Range Extender AC1900, however neither of them have IPs associated with them.

If I bypass the extender and connected directly to my router via Wi-Fi, not only do I have slower speeds but Plex still doesn't work outside my network.

All I want to do is when I am home, be able to plug in my external hard drive, startup plex, and it works on any device I want.

A gardening game where you plant, snip, and grow your own bonsai trees. In real life it can take decades for a bonsai to reach its full potential, but in this game you can manipulate time.

Whether it is by pressing a button or using an in game stopwatch, you can manipulate the world forward. It is almost like a VHS fast forward effect where you watch the branches on your tree rapidly grow and split in different directions right before your eyes. While time is flying, you can look out your studio window and watch the seasons and days blur past.

You are constantly pruning and shaping the tree until you feel it is absolutely perfect. Once it is ready, you move it into a photo booth, snap some shots, and list it online. You watch as the price ticks up in a live auction while a judge comments on the tree's health and the quality of your work.

The goal is to sell your creations so you can save up for better gear. You can buy everything from high end snipping tools and exotic seeds to fancy pots, special soil, fertilizer, and even a better studio to work in.

But for the masterpieces you just cannot bear to part with, I thought of a pedestal system. You can place your favorite trees on pedestals in your shop to show them off. To keep things from getting overwhelming, the trees on these pedestals are frozen in time and won't change or overgrow while you are busy with other projects. If you ever want to tweak them again, you just pull them off the pedestal and continue to work on them as usual.
