I started taking birth control a month ago, but it turned out my partner isn’t ready for intercourse. Can I just not start a new pack or is it important to consult my doctor? I’m on the mixed pill.
It’s my third week on the pill and exclusively today I had to stand for about 5 hours with little moving. I think that my feet are a bit swollen, but now I don’t know if it’s just because of my day or the pill and possible blood clots. My doctor when giving me the pill told me to Watch out for my legs swelling. Does anyone have any experience regarding this topic and could offer me some advice?
I started birth control about two weeks ago and just now I’ve started to feel some pain behind my knee. It feels like the pain from a bruise. I’m young and don’t have any additional diseases, it’s also not swollen and has minor purple color. Should I be worried about blood clots? How do differentiate between blood clots and a bruise?
So as the title says I’m on the first week on the pill and it’s the second time that I wake up because of nausea. Right now I’m sitting with a bucket waiting to throw up so I can feel better and go to sleep. A few days ago I also woke up with intense nausea, which ended in a vomiting session. Fortunately it only happens when I eat sth heavier. The first time it was fries from McDonald’s and this time it’s probably because of popcorn from the movie theater. I knew that eating it was a bad choice… So I just knows that from now I should just be careful with what I eat and don’t indulge in unhealthy food :((
I already read the leaflet and, because I vomited about 5 hours after taking the pill I should still be protected. But I wanted to ask, if you had problems with nausea/vomiting after the pill when did it go away? I just started taking them and I’m scared that I will have to deal with it everyday.
I’m just starting birth control pills and I was supposed to take the first one on the first day of my period. Yesterday I had light spotting,but today my period came. Should I have started taking them yesterday? Or is it alright if I just start today. I know that they work by preventing ovulation so I think I’m probably good, but I still want to make sure.
