waiting for this a whole year

I'm still wondering, because about a year and a half ago, after winning a battle and opening a Star Drop, I was asked if I wanted to open another Star Drop for an ad, and after watching it, I actually got one. I had this for about two months, and then it disappeared. No one else had this, so I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about it, or if anyone else has experienced this.

This is probably a bug, so won't I get banned?
