Hey together. So basically I am trying to learn more about redstone and doing stuff myself. I built a goldfarm without a design, just with the knowledge I had and some bits and bobs i looked up.
The picture shows what I came up with. The main problem was that the farm produced more items one hopper chain could handle and thus clog up the system.
The next problem was timing the piston shooters right so the items wont get stuck.
For the dispensers I used the smart dispenser system (unnecessarily complex because they basically should always fire, an observer clock would work just fine.)
The copper bulbs and observers are there to get the timings for the pistons right and stop them from firing twice.
I really would like some feedback to make it more efficient and less bulky and tell me if what I did was smart or kinda dumb.
Quick fire question: I am setting up a gold farm in the nether and want to collect the rotten flesh as well and sell it to villagers. Do villagers restock trades in the nether or do they need the day and night cycle? Sadly i couldn't find the solution elswwhere online
wanted to show off my survival super smelter build. I am creating a solar punk like research forest and used some concept art of the game terra nil for inspiration.
I want to add custom trees in the forest in the future as well.
Hello together,
I need to move a giant amount of items in the nether to sort and craft stuff. The hopper chain I am using is clogging and thus I loose items. I know you can transport items in the nether with ice roads, but for this the dispenser/dropper is probably also too slow to move the amount of items. I already installed the follow up for this project and I dont have a lot of space to move the system down ( just 1 block to be honest). I can put an item elevator there but yeah all of this takes time as well
As english is not my first language so don't know how to exactly search for an apropriate solution.
Anyone able to help? I can also provide screenshots of the situation.
Oh and also: I like to understand more about the mechanics of the game and how things actually work, so I would love some deeper insight if you have a solution.
so I am building a kinda hidden research area in a about to be dense forest. What would you think the roads would look like?
Option 1: polished tuff borders
Option 2: polished tuff but with street drainage
Option 3: yellow painted stripes on the outside
I really can't decide right now, i really like the yellow stripes but they may not fit the theme the best, the tuff is cool but there is not as much contrast
Firstly I wanted to say thank you for the hospitality all around, your country and ypur people are so nice. I visited two weeks ago and had a great time in general. Especially when I left typical touristic places.
One thing I wanted to do and did do was getting snacks and treats that are typical for Uzbekistan as I think you'll get a deeper experience by trying not only traditional meals.
So for my question: what types of snacks, treats and sweets would you consider as typically uzbek? What would you recommend to a visitor and what is your favourite uzbek snack?
As I already did get the snacks and are already back home I can give some insights on what I bought as well later.
Really looking forward to your suggestions.
