And we’re off! 90% complete?

Looking good so far

Challenges faced: didn’t quite expect the psu cable for the GPU to be routed this way. Received a right angled cable which was a nice touch but I guess this angle only supports standard and not inverted GPU builds. In any case, cables are stiff enough to be slung to the side and down for now.

Feeling good!

First time PC build.

finally ready to assemble

Hi members, I've read what feels like quite a lot. Maybe too much in fact as my better half would say. I've put together a shopping list and spent the last 6 months monitoring prices and just putting the whole project together. Sure, I could have gotten it done through a retailer and it would have probably added a 20% premium over for the time spent. But there's something quite strangely alluring about the challenge that comes with building your own machine. I have no prior experience and whatever I have learnt, I've done so through this community and am grateful to the knowledge shared by other builders.

Let's see where this goes and if if nothing explodes, I'll post the finished build here.

I am attemping to go with the inverted GPU layout.

For the enthusiasts:
These are the parts I'm working with
Ncase M2 Grater / AMD 9700X / MSI B850I Edge / 32GB DDR5 6000hz / Lexar nm790 / Coolermaster v850 SFX / PA 120mini + Artic P14P (reverse) / RTX5070
Open to comments and any tips for first time builders of the Ncase M2 Grater!
