You can get gens and clones for free from any bot, bots are hosted in websites, Twitch, youtube, Discord, etc. You do need a switch with online and a game, but for anyone that has these, they can get dozens of them for free. So anyone that isn't a jerk would do the service for you cheap or even free, too many are taking advantage of the mobile/go only players.
Crystal caverns shinies are also a grey area of legit but same story. Just join a bot hosted raid and get free shinies. These don't have any real trade value. their are just too many people taking advantage of all the new people that can't contain the fomo or dont know better.
Dont take advantage of newbies! Come on, guys.. and newbies stop falling for fomo 🤦♂️
