Any women seniors (I am a fresher), going to Indirapuram, Vashali, Vasudhara, Noida using Metro during weekends, please help as I want to start going by myself but I haven't traveled in metro alone ever.
I'll be joining the girls' hostel this year, and my parents are a bit worried about valuables getting stolen, so I wanted to ask current students about the reality. Is theft actually something people need to be concerned about in the girls' hostel, or is it pretty rare? Do you usually keep your room locked whenever you step out, even for a few minutes? I'll have a laptop (which I know most will too) and a few other valuable items with me, so I just wanted to know how careful people generally are. Is it okay to leave your belongings in your room, or do you always make sure everything is locked away? Just trying to understand what hostel life is actually like and convince my parents.
Guys is extension board needed? If yes please recommend one which you all are using as I can't find one under 1200w. If possible I want extension board to have usb port too, if not it's fine also...
Do we get are beds alloted too or its first come first serve thing... asking as someone joining in few days...
Guys do we get books list before we arrive to college or not cause as of know I have no idea about books or study material needed. I feel weird going to college and not having books or having any idea about it... Help pls
I have applied for scholarship through the google forms given by the uni during the first round of admissions, I wanted to know whether I should mail also as I haven't gotten any response yet or should I wait for the response. I also heard that we get our LNAT fees back after admission too, if yes how should I ask?

- Can we safely leave our belongings in the room?
- Are there lockers/wardrobes with locks provided?
- Is there any security system for valuables?
- Or do students usually pack and store their stuff somewhere else/take it home?
- Are small appliances like a kettle or a mini multipurpose kettle (around 600W) allowed?
- Are there restrictions on wattage or certain items?
Would really appreciate any advice regarding what’s practical to bring and how hostel storage/security usually works. Thanks!
