Figma Ryuko and Satsuki from Kill La Kill

For figures that are over 10 years old they really are impressive still. Good, solid articulation. They look fantastic. They have creative little details like the suspenders being a soft plastic material that can easily bend any way you move it. As usual with Figma, they are a bit fragile. Not enough thar I feel like I might break them, but enough where I took notice and was more careful with them.

Ryuko might be the superior figure between the two. She poses better due to Satsuki having the hard plastic shoulder pads, and her range is actually pretty good. Her faces have good expressions(though I'd have loved a teeth gritting face) and the detail is spot on. I can't really think of any particularly big flaws with her besides...maybe a lack of waist articulation.

Satsuki has issues during to the left or right with her head due to her hair and shoulder pads. But besides that she poses well. Good range, though much like Ryuko her waist has no articulation so there is some issues there. She is PACKED with accessories, however. She comes with her signature sword, Bakuzan, both sheathed and unsheathed as well as the other half of the scissorblade. On top of that, she also comes with a little peg to slot in the middle of the scissorblade to complete it, both in regular or decapitation mode. And in the back of Satsuki's box there's a little paper stand that has a group of one star goku uniform wearing students.

Overall, great releases. Very costly nowadays, but honestly fantastic releases. I WISH we had gotten more from Figma with the KLK line. We did get Mako, but no Gamagori, Nonon, Nui, Ragyo. Even just sticking to the main 2 characters, I'd have loved Senketsu Kisaragi Ryuko or Satsuki's KLK IF Junketsu Shinzui form. Or even their regular school uniforms.

Ah well. Fun releases. Would recommend(if you can get them without cutting off your arms and legs).

What are the chances we get a buzzmod Satsuki?

The Buzzmod Ryuko, in my opinion, was a total slam dunk. She looks fantastic. Now though, I definitely need a Satsuki. Maybe a Mako down the line too but that's neither here nor there.

What are the chances we get one?

Which is your preferred Mandalorian?

From left to right: Mafex 2.0, SHF Mandalorian and Grogu, Black Series Deluxe Mandalorian and Grogu.

Personally, I'm torn between all 3. They all offer various positives and negatives.

Mafex has a great sculpt, it looks the best. Not to say the others are bad, but it just looks like the figure came off the screen. The helmet is perfect, the body armor has a nice shine. The accessories it comes with are just honestly vast. He comes with 2 pulse rifles(one to stick on his back), an effect cor the rifle, a vibro knife, his signature blaster, a darksaber(lit and unlit hilt), Grogu, a Grogu in a bag...it's just more than you can really ask for.

SHF Mando...is honestly a good figure, but SHF refuses to change some things I feel would benefit the figure. The scale seems wack, and I'm not sure if it's specifically because the neck and helmet seem undersized or if he's just scaled too short overall. Next to a black series stormtrooper he just doesn't fit right size wise. That being said, the sculpt is fantastic and his accessories include probably the best Grogu you can find. He has cloth goods, an extra little bit you can plug in to make him sit on Din's shoulder, the beskar chest shield, the little crib/speeder he uses in the Rotta chase, alternate heads and arms as well. Din himself is lacking in accessories though, just a blaster, hands, and jetpack. Kinda lacking, but given the Grogu I can accept it. His articulation beats out all 3, easily.

Black Series is easily one of the better figures they've done. He's got the standard fare for a Black Series but seems to somehow improve upon the last good one(Glavius Ringworld, don't @ me). The cape is nice, the Grogu he comes with hangs off him decently, he comes with a rifle with a removable scope, new ball jointed wrists as well as a hand you can switch out to hold his vibro knife. The sculpt is great, and the affordability is obviously there. You get a great figure for basically nothing, it's honestly impressive.

All are great figures. Mafex wins out on accessories and sculpt. SHF on Grogu and articulation. Black Series on affordability and being a jack of all trades. He hits the itch without fully satisfying.

What do y'all think?

Mafex Vader(Kenobi) is incredible.

The sculpt is pretty immaculate. The cape suffers from the same problem the SHF Kenobi one did in that it bunches up near the neck and destroys the silhouette so I replaced it with one from OT customs. But the amount of accessories and small details for this figure make it pretty desirable.

The range of motion is great. He can move pretty much any way you would want Vader to move. The neck range is what really impresses me, unlike the Kenobi Vader he can actually look around, up and down both pretty far for a Vader figure. Plus, an upside that the SHF has trouble with, the helmet is very easy to put on or take off. It also has little details like being able to take off the top piece of both the damaged and undamaged helmets, which is always appreciated.

One very interesting detail is with the full helmet you can actually see through the lenses and catch his eyes. Really nice touch!

His ankles move great, can hit the splits. One of the bicep swivels needed some shock oil but after that he was able to move pretty freely. You can't move the arms all the way around, unfortunately, the shoulder piece is solid with cuts near the shoulders to allow limited movement upwards but Vader doesn't really need it. Keeps the shoulder armor pretty clean looking too. It's a nice compromise to having it attached to the shoulder like shoulder pads with Black Series and SHF.

The tunic is soft goods, but not wired. Not that it needs to be of course. It looks great though.

Overall, I think this might be the definitive Vader figure. Which seems to be a running theme with every improvement from import companies, but I really enjoy it.

The Fantastic Four(616) vs Imperium of Man(WH40K)

Reed gets 20 minutes of prep time in his lab beforehand. The Imperium's goal is to eliminate them, F4's is to eliminate the entire Imperium of Man. Is it possible or do they get cut down?

I think 5k toys just scammed me over the ZT Toys Broly.

Originally I had bought one ZT Broly, I just pre-ordered it on 5k. Then when I was going for the 2nd payment, I decided to get another just in case the other broke or something. I purchased both, fully, and then just today they finally shipped. And, for whatever reason, they cancelled my 2nd payment but kept the in-stock.

I was straight up scammed, right? Has this ever happened before?
