Figma Ryuko and Satsuki from Kill La Kill
For figures that are over 10 years old they really are impressive still. Good, solid articulation. They look fantastic. They have creative little details like the suspenders being a soft plastic material that can easily bend any way you move it. As usual with Figma, they are a bit fragile. Not enough thar I feel like I might break them, but enough where I took notice and was more careful with them.
Ryuko might be the superior figure between the two. She poses better due to Satsuki having the hard plastic shoulder pads, and her range is actually pretty good. Her faces have good expressions(though I'd have loved a teeth gritting face) and the detail is spot on. I can't really think of any particularly big flaws with her besides...maybe a lack of waist articulation.
Satsuki has issues during to the left or right with her head due to her hair and shoulder pads. But besides that she poses well. Good range, though much like Ryuko her waist has no articulation so there is some issues there. She is PACKED with accessories, however. She comes with her signature sword, Bakuzan, both sheathed and unsheathed as well as the other half of the scissorblade. On top of that, she also comes with a little peg to slot in the middle of the scissorblade to complete it, both in regular or decapitation mode. And in the back of Satsuki's box there's a little paper stand that has a group of one star goku uniform wearing students.
Overall, great releases. Very costly nowadays, but honestly fantastic releases. I WISH we had gotten more from Figma with the KLK line. We did get Mako, but no Gamagori, Nonon, Nui, Ragyo. Even just sticking to the main 2 characters, I'd have loved Senketsu Kisaragi Ryuko or Satsuki's KLK IF Junketsu Shinzui form. Or even their regular school uniforms.
Ah well. Fun releases. Would recommend(if you can get them without cutting off your arms and legs).
