This is probably not the right subreddit but student welcome day was today, and oh my god no one there had any initiative or drive, and just kind of dripped about. Is this a bracknell issue? A general teen issue? I was shocked by the seemingly majority lax attitude and overall lack of manners; not to use a boring overdone metaphor, but everyone acted like sheep and seemed content to be herded around. I’m hoping it’s better when term starts in september. Any fellow students or parents noticed or felt the same? I kinda felt like I was going insane there today, it’s like there’s a refusal to engage with anything.
