Was having a boring Saturday night with a sprained ankle just scrolling YouTube and decided to search for a wee stealth camp video to watch (not Blott, just any). Blott’s tiny roundabout stealth camp from 3 yeas ago popped up and as it was only about 30 mins, thought why not watch again (I’m sure I watched it when it was issued).

Fuck me, what a difference! Blott once upon a time could actually speak English words the majority of the time. He didn’t whine or complain about internet hurty words. Not a political noise came out his mouth, he didn’t marginalise anyone. He didn’t just fill the entire time with stupid catch phrases and sex noises. He didn’t once laugh at his own farts. He still had half a bottle of cheap supermarket whisky, but no cans, or wine. He even had a coffee before cracking open the whisky. He didn’t even just neck it out the bottle, but actually used his cup.

It was by all intents and purposes an enjoyable watch, and what made me tune in each week back then. When you go back and compare today’s offerings to back then, the difference is stark. Perhaps when you just watch his three a week videos, you don’t really notice the gradual change.

So, I have a question for the blot fans here. Has he ever defined what qualifies someone as a soy boy or a wet wipe? The reason I’m confused is his fans seem to just randomly assign the moniker to anyone that remotely criticises blot.

I get that it’s intended to mean anyone that get “offended” by his “jokes”, but it seems to range from anyone who comments about his pish patter, to people that are downright offended. So many comments on here where there’s no middle ground that you’re either a soy boy/ wet wipe or Blot arselicker.

I’m not gonna lie, I don’t really watch him anymore. I used to really like the stealth camps that were actually stealthy, like the ones at the maccy’ds car park, tiny roundabout, Asda, and beside a slip road in the pouring rain. A wee swally and a bit of banter whilst keeping the head down hiding was quite entertaining.

I never really bothered about the wild camps, or takeaway reviews as they just didn’t hold my attention.

I did watch some of last night’s as I thought it might be a wee bit like that, but I turned it off after 15 mins. There was no “stealth” involved being how he was able to wander around and talk his bullshit all the time without worrying he will be found.

I don’t really find his sense of humour that amusing when he just rambles on hardly speaking a word of fucking English and deliberately trying to wind up the “soy boys and wet wipes”. I’m not a fan of his politics or “jokes” and the thumbnail for the “Somalian day care” pretty much done it for me.

So, not throwing shade to anyone, like what you like, but I really don’t get the “I’ll watch to criticise everything you do blot” when you know fine well what he’s like, and the “I can see him doing no wrong, blots a comedy genius” when he is being clearly racist and insulting but adding “only joking guys”.

Do we just accept that if you come here to comment you have to put yourself into the soy boy/ wet wipe or the arselicker category?
