Saw Lord Huron 6/20 in Hershey—I didn’t deserve to be there.
Knew nothing about the band. I’m now hooked. I’ve spent the last weeks listening to Strange Trails on repeat and trying to understand all the elements.
La Belle Fleur Sauvage when they performed got me hooked. I’m ashamed to say I was all “wtf is this guy doing to a phone booth?” and scoffing to myself. Then I looked around and saw a scattered few totally grooving to themselves and the people around them.
What gems, what great and fun music.
Dear Lord Huron and its fans, I’m sorry. I wasn’t worthy to be there and I will now work to redeem myself. :)
