How would you spend an evening in Kyoto - too many options!
Hi! Will be visiting for the first time in mid November and have 4 days in Kyoto.
I have a few hours (4 PM to 8 PM) to spend solo as my friends head to Nintendo Museum, and am conflicted on how to spend my time!
- Yasaka shrine as the lights turn on, walk by Komo river, grab a drink in Pontoncho street?
- Gion walking tour?
- Rooftop bar (anyone been to K36)?
- Just grab a ramen and chill out
- Be spontaneous (as if my type A planner heart would let me)
Any suggestions of your fave bar or restaurant are appreciated, Id be happy just walking around and grabbing a drink in a nice vibe.
Hope this doesnt get flagged as low effort - my Kyoto google list would beg otherwise. Simply looking for recommendations from someone who is not an influencer!
