His and Her - 3rd European trip with this setup

This is gonna be the 3rd European trip with my other half, and this is our setup while travelling.
SlimQ 150W 3C1A is more than enough for us. (Missing another iPhone cause somehow I had to take the photo ahaha)

My experience with the new L-shaped Connector from SlimQ

Hi everyone,

A few weeks ago, someone mentioned on this subreddit (thanks!) that an L-shaped connector was finally available for those of us using the SlimQ 150W charger (Not an affiliate link: https://slimq.life/products/150w-usb-c-gan-charger-for-universal) with an adaptor (link further down) for the native power port of the 2025 Z13.

I couldn't resist the instabuy lol.

For anyone who doesn't know yet, using the SlimQ 150W with an adapter lets you use the ASUS Mini Port (the square/rectangle one) to get FULL battery passthrough once the battery hits 100%. If you don't know what that is, or why it's important, when you use the proprietary Asus port to use your Z13 plugged in (after the battery is full), you are not wearing your battery down by staying plugged in for extended periods of time.

Unlike when you use the USB-C ports to keep your device powered after the battery's full, which causes it to go from 100% to 99% to 100% to 99%. You're continuously using the battery, creating tons of mini recharge cycles, even when it's full.

This neat setup gives you full power delivery (you can use any profile with it, even turbo), while using a way lighter, smaller, and more portable brick than the stock ASUS one.

Well, I'm here to report that I love this new product they launched. Here's the link if you want to check it out: https://slimq.life/products/asus-mini-port-rog-zephyrus-g14-g16-2024?variant=48291719676153 (not an affiliate link).

Thanks to this, I finally have a clean setup without cables awkwardly sticking out from the side of my device like my old cable connector did (same goes for anyone using the straight tip connector).

For those wondering: yes, it works in both directions, so you can plug it in with the cable routing either straight up or straight down.

Is it perfect? No. I would've preferred a tip that actually points towards the back of the laptop rather than up or down, because with this L-shaped one, you still have to route the cable in a way that bends it a bit.

But is it better than the tip connector or the standard cable connector? I can confidently say YES.

Don't hesitate if you have any questions! Big Z13 fan here, I got a 2025 64GB model running Windows 11 and Bazzite (dual boot setup).

Cheers!
