First oil change.

One of the easiest vehicles to get to once you remove the 10m bolts (4) on skid plate and t25 torx bits on side of wheels (3 each side).

3/8 12v extended ratchet sped up the time.

Went with K&n over Mopar so it'll be easier to twist off next time.

Assuming when I bought it that dealership did oil change based off uconnect5. Still seemed after driving 5k miles, oil was black.

Used scan tool to reset uconnect5 and hornet is back up and running. No dealer needed. All in about 45 bucks and hour of my time.

How to reset oil / Maintenance screen with scanner

I have finally figured out how to reset the uconnect5 screen under car settings that shows maintenance / oil life.

I'm using a kingbolen k10 pro scanner with FCA Authorization.

Once you scan the vehicle and login to FCA Auth.

You will will. Look at system scan, then IPC (instrument panel cluster).

Then go to special functions. Then reset service information.

Boom shaka laka. No dealer needed or witch 2.0
