My experience with coaches (you don't need one)

I am 100% a believer in the law of assumption. I've changed my life in a lot of ways and will not criticize the law. HOWEVER, in my desperation when I first found this community, I was obviously vulnerable, desperate, and eager to do whatever I could to get what I wanted without understanding how simple the law is. I learned with a lot of my hard-earned dollars that my vunerabilty was the potential income for coaches.

This is not some ad, and I don't know any of these people in real life, just simply sharing experience from someone that spent an embarrassing amount of money coach hopping working with them before I got my shit together and learned this is all within my own power. There are a couple coaches I've worked with that I genuinely got something out of. when I asked for more sessions or another call, they told me I didn't need it, which I respected. I am a service-based business owner myself (not coaching lol) so I understand marketing tactics people use. LOA is a niche where it is so easy to scam people if you're unethical and do it for the money. There's no regulations so literally anyone can become a "coach" and as long as you've got the marketing down you can make a shit ton of money it seems. So here are my honest experiences working with coaches...how their coaching worked, what I beleive made them care about this more than the money, and who to avoid. I am also here to say you DO NOT need to spend a dime to manifest what you want and the real coaches will tell you this. If you feel you want a coach for support or to help you though, I get it and can't judge that.

I hate I wasted so much money to figure out I can do this all myself, but here it is:

-Erik from the Power of I am: Erik's deny, choose, be teachings were mentioned on a Reddit form. I had never heard of him and went to his YouTube. I'll admit, I totally off of first impression that he was a douche wearing sunglasses acting holier than thou. This is after numerous weeks of seeing trendy youtubers where you "get a text in 5 min" and was tired of not seeing anything (obviously). His message didn't resonate with me until I saw one specific video. He is the last coach I worked with and I will say one of the 2 that made an impression on manifestation. He's not everyone's cup of tea. He's blunt, funny, and has long winded content. I had one call with Erik. It was only supposed to be 15 min because I didn't want to dish out a lot of cash for it after spending so much beforehand. I'll be honest, he stayed on the phone for 45 min and only had to get off the phone due to another call. He and I have even shared voice notes in between them for completely free. He never pushed coaching on me. I texted him a week after our call to get more coaching and he insisted the power was within me and my ego was telling my more coaching was the answer. I really respected this. Love or hate him, but his teachings and the way he approached this shit made it click. He's very expensive and I never did a text membership, but honestly I do understand how we are paying for people's time so I'm not a critic on that for calls and texting when you actually get it. His text members (some I'm personally talked to) have attested successes and basically the voice memos are all day and not limited to just a few a day. I couldn't afford that, but thankfully didn't need it.

Tone on Tiktok: I will admit, I was VERY skeptical of tiktok LOA creators. they're fucking everywhere. I had no idea what LOA was until 2025 so it was easy to spot scammers who made an account within the last year, especially the ones that never show their face. What made me attracted to Tone's coaching was the no bullshit approach. I couldn't afford his 2 week coaching and he gave it to me for half the price. It was only supposed to be email coaching which I wasn't a fan of so he actually gave me his number, not even on what's app. Tone has been teaching this stuff for years and will also tell most people they don't need coaching, and I genuinely think he means it. Well after the 2 weeks, he continued to check in and help me answer questions. He never fed me any bullshit, and told me to stop consuming the content because a lot of grifters are out here and that I know what to do.

OK SO the ones that I find scammy or misaligned:

I had a call with changinghermind: it wasn't what I expected. I felt I didn't get much out of it and she constantly pushes her courses on her page on her lives. I liked her personality but our call didn't feel genuine or structured at all. She was also in the car during our call so didn't feel she was paying attention. As a busy business owner myself, I aways make sure if I'm on video with clients, I'm in a space I can be focused.

Ryan Talks: I think that's his name? Idk. Had a call with him back when he did them and he kept pushing his new "product" on me where it was long term coaching. Even if you can't afford it he would then tell you that you can because of manifestation you always have the money. I liked his videos, but wouldn't recommend coaching. If there's anything that turns me off to the product of any kind, it's the pushy sales tactics.

Ellie in the 4D: I actually liked her as a person. No critique about that and I don't think she's trying to scam intentionally, but with that being said, if you get her coaching via what's app, you only get around 4-5 responses via voice memos per day, and some of them will be only follow up questions. So say you're at work until 5 or 6 each day and can't continuously talk, she will stop work on her end around the same time most days. This wasn't told upfront. The way she teaches just isn't for me, but regardless, I think more detail about the structure of texting coaching should be broken down so people aren't expecting more support for what they're paying.

..anyway, these were my personal experiences. I genuinely believe most "coaches" are full of shit, making it hard to decipher which are legit. What easier way to make money than to give hope to those in vulnerable positions? Thankfully I can now stop wasting money, but theres a lot of negativity here so wanted to also bring some of the positive experiences in addition to the scammers I faced. I repeat again, you do not need coaching for this shit. If you're going to though, be very careful about where you're sending your money.
