I live on Alabama st and the purple ice cream truck that plays Cielito Lindo comes down my street often, but it drives too fast and by the time I hear it and get outside I see the ass end of it turning onto Sonoma. Grrr. I will admit I act like a kid whenever I hear the music. lol. I don't suppose they have any kind of social media presence? Does anyone know if it has an actual name? I don't need it every day or anything, but if it would just slow down a bit, it would be nice!

I have been working with a small community theater for about a year now. Our late October show is Little Shop, and I auditioned for Audrey II. And I got a callback! Actually, most of the people who auditioned were going after Audrey or Seymour, so I didn't have a lot of competition. BUT, here is my question. I am a middle aged white woman with a deep voice. I obviously am not going to put on a blaccent. How do I convey the music with all of it's R&B/Funk influences without making it into a parody or something inappropriate? Help!
