What's the best Finotive Funding alternative out there?

I've been using Finotive Funding for a bit but I'm looking to diversify my accounts. The conditions are okay but I want to see what else is out there.

Who are you guys using as an alternative? Looking for something with similar rules but maybe better spreads or faster payouts.

Is AquaFunded worth it? Need reviews

I keep seeing AquaFunded mentioned but I can't tell if the reviews online are real or just affiliates pushing their links.

Has anyone here actually traded with them for a few months? How are the spreads and do they actually process withdrawals on time?

Bullwaves vs Topstep for futures?

I know Topstep is huge for futures, but I'm seeing Bullwaves mentioned more often now. I'm trying to figure out if it's worth switching or at least adding them to my rotation.

Has anyone traded futures on both? How do the rules and payout structures compare? I want to make sure Bullwaves (the prop firm) is actually competitive before I commit.

Bullwaves or FundedNext? Need some advice

I'm torn between FundedNext and Bullwaves right now. FundedNext has the 15% profit share from the challenge phase which is nice, but I'm curious about Bullwaves' trading conditions.

Has anyone here passed challenges with both? Just to be clear, I mean Bullwaves the prop firm. Trying to figure out which one has less BS when it comes to actually getting paid.

Why Beginners Should Focus on Swing Trading

One of the best decisions I made after years of trading was switching to swing trading.

It removes the pressure of watching charts all day, reduces emotional trading, and lets you focus on bigger market moves instead of chasing quick profits.

Since making the switch, my stress levels have dropped, my win rate has improved, and trading has become much more sustainable.

If you're struggling with overtrading or inconsistent results, swing trading might be worth considering.

Feel free to message me.

Best Forex Brokers for US Traders?

I’ve been studying forex trading for about 6 months now and finally feel ready to open a live account. The problem is, being a US citizen makes finding a good broker way harder because of all the regulations.

I originally planned on using AAAFx, but since it’s not regulated for US traders, I decided against it. Now I’m back to searching for a reliable broker that actually works well for people in the US.

I’m not too concerned about using MT4 or MT5 specifically, I just want a trustworthy broker with solid execution and decent trading conditions.

Any fellow US forex traders have recommendations for brokers you’ve had good experiences with?

Understanding Prop Trading and Funded Evaluations

I’ve been researching prop trading but still feel confused about how it all works. Why do people use prop firms, and how do these companies make money while letting traders use company capital? What stops someone from just blowing up an account on purpose?

I’m also curious about why traders celebrate passing “evaluations.” What makes getting funded such a big deal, and do people do prop trading long term? I’d also like to understand what markets are usually traded through prop firms, such as stocks, futures, forex, or options.

FINRA Approves Removal of the PDT Rule, SEC Decision Pending

FINRA has approved the removal of the Pattern Day Trader (PDT) rule, and the proposal is now awaiting SEC approval. If finalized, traders may only need the standard $2,000 minimum margin account balance to actively day trade, replacing the current $25,000 PDT requirement.

What are your thoughts on this potential change? How do you think it could impact retail traders and the broader markets?

Best Day Trading Platforms for Beginners

I’m interested in getting started with day trading, but I’m not sure which platform is best for a beginner. What platforms would you recommend for ease of use, low fees, good charting tools, and educational resources?

I’ve been trading with Apex Trader Funding since late 2023 and initially had a positive experience, receiving several payouts. However, over the past several weeks, things have become very frustrating and have seriously impacted my trust in the firm.

A $16.5K payout request from May 15 was denied due to a retroactive enforcement of a DCA rule that wasn’t clearly applied at the time. Later, a $28.5K payout request (June 1–5) was also denied despite me following the updated rules and completing 10 trading days. The reason given involved platform/Rithmic issues, including ghost orders and unexpected trades, which were outside my control.

Although Apex later acknowledged I shouldn’t have been denied and indicated the payout would be approved, I’ve since experienced continued delays, unclear communication, and my accounts still show as denied. A further payout request of $31.5K was also later denied due to an “account investigation.”

Overall, despite significant documented trading profits over time, I’ve faced repeated payout denials, shifting explanations, and unresolved support tickets. This has caused financial stress and seriously reduced my confidence in the platform.

I would advise other traders to be cautious, diversify across firms, and be aware of potential payout and policy inconsistencies.
