My favs from NA 2

Hey guys! Felt like sharing this, so here’s my list from fav to least fav from their new record. Feel free to compare and discuss!

1: do what you gotta do. one of my favs in recent years. lyrics are on point and it’s a fresh sound.

2: afterthought. it was between this and dwygd. love this one, especially the line ”you never see me in the daylight.”

3: another body. i don’t hear a lot of people talk about this one, and i think it’s heavily slept on. holds a special place in my heart.

4: what’s always been. very cathartic. a song i’ll continually go back to over the years. added to my ambient playlist.

5: talk cheap, die broke. this one gets a lot of hate, but i do like it. fun catchy tune, not much more lyrically.

6: 12:34. very boring lyrically. the happy upbeat vibe saves it.

7: never and always. i like the more calm indie vibe this one gives. just meh, kinda forgettable.

8: holly! cliche, just better than the next ones 😭

9: dancer. i’m not a real good dancer either. i can relate to this song.

10: mascara. i see a lot of people raving about this, but i just don’t understand the hype. it’s always skippable.

11: mirror mirror. meh.

It’s really hard to decide if I like NA 1 or 2 more. Both have some great songs and questionable songs. It’s kinda hard to understand some lyrics on both albums. But if i had to choose, NA 2 would win by the slightest bit. I wanna hear your thoughts!

Help, I messed up

I recently got my first tattoo over the weekend. it was definitely impulsive spur of the moment with friends. I wanted to get a crescent moon, but I made several mistakes. (1) I had the artist shade completely black rather than a simple outline or a light shade. (2) the position on my arm is not symmetrical at all, and at an awkward angle, and I realized most people who are in front of me will see a flipped letter C rather than a moon. I feel so much regret for getting it but don’t wanna spend thousands to get it removed. any coverup ideas? I don’t want any animals or any other cosmic symbols. if anything somehow maybe something botanical / floral crawling up my arm to fhe edge of the back of my palm, or something similar. and nothing too big! I want to eventually do patchwork not a sleeve. Pls I need help 😭

EDIT: I didn’t expect this post to get so many comments lol. I’m glad you all can see a moon when I couldn’t. Yall pointed out some great things and I don’t think I will cover it up. If anything I think eventual patch work will complete the look! Thanks for the reassurance :)

Recovering from Injury

Hello all! I have some questions for more experienced athletes in the game. I’ve been training parkour for about five years now, and today actually had my first real bad injury. I broke something in my foot where it connects to the ankle. I’ll be out of training for months and then it’ll take several more months to regain any sort of confidence. So for those who have been injured in the past and got back to training after complete recovery, what was your mindset? How did you come back stronger from it? How did you not let the setback keep you down? How do you battle the fear of something like that happening again? I don’t want to let this be the end of parkour for me. But I also don’t want this to be the start of more injuries down the road. I look at Sacha from STORROR, he had a terrible injury back several years ago that sunk his confidence up until last year when he started training and losing weight. Please advice as I’m feeling discouraged right now. Thank you!
