I am scheduled for Jury Duty the week of May 25, 2026. The summons indicates that we can bring food and beverages to the courthouse. What about other things? I was assuming books, etc. were ok, but what about laptops or other things to keep you occupied? The last time I had Jury duty was about 12-14 years ago and we were dismissed at noon the first day and told not to come back the 2nd day because all cases had settled (it was around a holiday). Any suggestions/recommendations/insight is appreciated.
