CAN+ visitor visa from India: Confusion in "Why do you need a visa?"
Hi everyone, looking for an advice on what to choose in "Why do you need a visa?" in the application.
About me:
- 26M, Stable job in India
- Have valid US visa (B1/B2
- Traveling to the US after 4 months for Company offsite for a week, and then want to visit my sister (who will mostly have PR by then) and travel around for 4-5 days and back to India
- Have been to Malaysiya, Singapore, US in the past
I was confused on what should I select as a purpose - 1)To visit Canada as a tourist or 2)To visit other family who are not listed above or friends for less than 6 months. For the second one, I will require to submit invitation letter from my sister.
The application only requires for Passport and my US visa if I select Tourist. I will additionally submit my employer letter, financial proofs, and payslips to show the ties to India.
I read some posts that said it's better to not select the Friends or Family at this age, but I am confused if somehow they identify that I have sister in Canada, then can it be an issue? The application doesn't ask for siblings data in Family information. What do you guys think I should choose?
