What happens if one receives a prescript to take a new role after they’ve abandoned their faith

To think that I did all that only to receive this prescript. I guess fate really is cruel…

My Ring/Index OC Introduction

Saw some people making picrew OCs in the other finger subreddits so I figured I might as well make one myself :/

Sorry for using picrew I’m trying to draw and it’s not working maestros please don’t smite me (ToT)

This is Judith, the OC I’ll be roleplaying as from now on :>

This is my main account so I probably won’t be in character all the time but on posts that are clearly roleplay I’ll(try) to be in character

Here is a ‘‘‘short’’’ description of her

Name: Judith(obviously)

Age: unknown, probably 20 something

Gender: Female

Height: 1.68m/5”6

Place of residence: W corp’s backstreets

Occupation: Apostate of the Index/Corporist student of the Ring

Personality: Calm and friendly. Doesn’t talk much, but likes to be polite when she does. Therefore, she normally adopts a very formal manner of speech. However, she can be very passionate when talking about corporism and art in general

Hobbies: Making art, following prescripts(when she feels like it), thinking about things, making sure her weapons are sharp(while thinking about things)

Likes: Tea(any kind), stuff she can put her mind to, personal liberty

Dislikes: Coffee, repetitive and monotonous tasks

Combat: Judith wields the issued longsword given to her as a proselyte. In her off hand she uses a weapon modified from a scalpel with an elongated handle for slightly better range which she wields as a dagger for parrying and close quarters combat. She also uses said scalpel as a tool to carve her sculptures.

Lore: Born in the backstreets of W. Corp, Judith’s life began how most backstreets children do: as an orphan after her parents abandoned her due to economic issues. She ended up being one of the lucky ones, managing to carve out a small life for herself. One day, some time during her teens, she received a prescript from a messenger of the Index calling for her to become a proselyte. As she was lacking direction at the time and seeking to find meaning in life, she joined without hesitation.

However, as several years went by without a promotion to a higher rank and nothing interesting happening, she began to find her life just as meaningless as before. That is until when she received a prescript to join the Ring. Thinking nothing of it, she obeyed it, as she always does, and managed to pass the entrance exam. She quickly got to work creating more pieces and completing assignments with the rest of the students. As days passed, she began finding joy in creating art: she could freely pour her heart and mind into it to produce something physical that symbolised her desires. Though with this joy came a newfound pain of continuously following prescripts. She quickly gathered a small following amongst fellow students and even caught the eye of a maestro. Finally, when the maestro offered to tutor her personally, she decided to revoke her belief in the prescripts to focus wholly on her art and the opportunities for self expression it gave her.

She still follows the prescripts for fun(and also to avoid the proxies), but twists their meaning in a way that suits her own wishes

Lore TLDR: joins Index seeking direction in life, finds following prescripts too boring, gets a prescript to join the Ring, finds it much more liberating, abandons faith in the Index

Me after I managed to solve the last question in the maths exam

When I finished the last question I literally slammed my pen down on the desk, clasped my hands together and did the absolute cinema pose

I was so scared the invigilators were gonna come up to me and ask me if was alright (ToT)
