30 days refund via Apple denied
TLDR if you consider money back guarantee trial, don’t use Apple (and maybe Google) to pay for the purchase
Hind sight is 20/20, just found a 5 years old post here about the same issue.
I trialled Nord for one day and decided I it’s not better from the one I’m using now, requested refund, the customer chat provided additional info to keep me onboard, I’ve made the unwise decision to try it for a few more days, thinking it would be covered by the guarantee period anyway. When I requested refund again, it turned out I could only do it via Apple, and Apple only refunded the prorated portion, even I submitted the link to Nord’s money back guarantee, Apple still denied the balance and closed the case. The answer I got via Nord chat was that even Nord ultimately got paid, purchased made via Apple cannot be refunded by them, essentially voiding the guarantee.
