Had interview recently that was scheduled for 45 minutes (half dozen or so questions) and time for me to ask questions. Ended up going close to one hour as ran into 45 minutes voids I got chance to ask questions. Have no idea of it went well or not. No hint either way than nice to meet you at end of call.
What precisely does it mean for notice that says - “you are tentatively eligible for series/grade combination based on self rating of qualifications.”
No other information was provided in the notice.
Oddly I had a similar email from different agency HR who i reached out to 2 weeks ago for an update that said they received my application and rated it as tentatively eligible based on self assessment. We are currently reviewing your qualifications based on the responses you provided in the questionnaire and the documents submitted with the application.
This past week I checked on a few application statuses. All of the HR folks so far (4 places) have responded within a day, with even one pushing forward the referral notice on a 15 opening after the email status update inquiry. Does that seem normal given HR workloads and understaffing? Some have mentioned managing high volume of applications slowing down review process and certs.
I see many applications are beginning to ask VERA and VISP status. Any ideas if that is a screener or just way to better understand candidate profile? Clearly suggests many who took VERA and/or VISP are applying to positions.
I have one application in with position (DHA) that closed about 4 weeks ago. How long to expect SME review for referral status? Debating inquiry with HR next week.
