From my OG SP AGS-101 (reshelled) to the new and shiny Odin Portal 2, Switch 2 & Steam Deck. Love them all!

So I just finished the demo with 100% of all the side activities and main quests with a playtime of 12+ hours. As someone who (to be fair) has had every opportunity to play FF7 Remake and Rebirth on PS4/PS5, it hasn’t been until they have came to Switch 2 that I really got into them. I did play mostly 100% docked and was thoroughly impressed. The bit I did play handheld definitely took a little adjustment just because it’s immediately noticeable how much blurrier everything is. As people have mentioned, the 30 FPS definitely is not as consistent as Remake in busier areas such as the dense spots in Kalm. I was still very satisfied given this is a PS5 title and not a PS4 title as Remake initially was. Overall, part of me feels dumb for not playing these on PS5 back when they launched, but the versatility and ease of use of the Switch is what attracted me so much to these games years later. I’m curious to hear how everyone else has felt about this demo so far and especially those who played them back on PS5!
