Happy first birthday to my beautiful puppies, they've all grown up so much since I've last seen some of them! Wild how time flies by so fast 🥹 As much as I miss the puppy days, the cleaning up was brutal lol. Very happy that all of them have found wonderful & fulfilling homes, I couldn't be more satisfied with all of their families 💕

Pretty sure only my demon Arin is left biting anything and everything, left and right, out of the five of them, the others are all very well-mannered & distinguished individuals. Of course I get the only crazy one 😂, but I wouldn't have it any other way :)

hello all! back with my pup Arin, now 7 months old, to show her current growth.
still a menace to society, she looooves playing with her brother (more like biting lol) and stealing anything she's not meant to (slippers, empty wrappers/bags, food). she's particularly fond of carrying around her soft and fuzzy toys, I'm always inclined to buy her more whenever I come across dog toys 🥹

she has been to another show this weekend, did very well even though I was not that good at handling her this time. it was super hot, very long and delayed unfortunately, so she was worn out by the time she was to walk & pose for the Best in Show. didn't place, but she did get a very nice description from the judge! still, think she enjoyed meeting a couple of dogs and definitely did enjoy getting pets from a few people, haha. and treats, of course. probably the only reason she forgives me for having her stand around bored, in the heat, for a few hours 😅

aside from that, she's still very easy and eager to train when food is involved. she has been getting the hang of free-stacking and I'm working on introducing source-focus to hopefully make it easier to have her head focused forwards, eventually in the right position! her ears are still all over the place, but they've mostly calmed down into the rose-shaped position, with the exception of her right ear wanting to stand up every so often.

she can be seen next to her mother (blue brindle) in one of the pictures! she's about 44cm tall tiny at the withers, while her mother is about 46cm. I'm expecting her to grow a couple more centimeters, but she's definitely going to stay at the smaller side of a Whippet. on the other hand, her brother is huge, almost as tall as my unrelated Whippet, standing at about 50-51cm.
Arin is also getting more and more elongated, I'm afraid she will end up turning into a worm on a string lol! her snout is even longer now and she uses her limbs to take up all the space in my bed.

I also love the fact that her upper lip will get stuck on her teeth sometimes, so she will have this derpy, teeth poking through, face usually when she's asleep.
