Hello world. I have a ROG Thor Platinum II 1200W PSU and an RTX 3080 (Gainward Phantom). In some cases, like running AI models or playing games like Tekken 8, my PC shuts down completely and then restarts. When I undervolt my GPU in MSI Afterburner and flatten the curve at 1875 MHz, the problem is solved. So it seems the GPU is causing power spikes and the PSU is shutting down the system for some reason. My question is: which is the faulty part — the GPU or the PSU? My PSU is high-end, so I'd be sad if it turned out to be the culprit. I plan to replace the GPU to a 5090 in a few months anyway.
