Help Save Milford's Harbor Views—Move That Generator!
Milford's harbor is one of the things that makes our town special. But right now, an elevated generator at the Rogers Avenue Pump House is sitting smack in the middle of those scenic views—and honestly, it's hard to ignore.
I know we need infrastructure. The generator does important work for our community. But does it have to dominate the harbor landscape? I started a petition asking the City of Milford to relocate it to a less conspicuous spot. There are other places it could go that would still keep everything running smoothly while letting our harbor be what it should be—beautiful and cherished.
This isn't about being picky about aesthetics. Our harbor draws people here. It's part of what we're proud of as a town. The generator's current location just doesn't need to cost us that.
If you've walked around the harbor lately and felt the same way, consider signing and sharing this. Does anyone else see this as an easy fix that could make a real difference?
