Burnair map legend

Burnair map legend

Does anyone know where I can find a map legend?

Or can what the difference between the little square either green or blue with white triangle is? They’re next to distance of live tracking, or sometimes it’s an orange symbol with a track.

PI ULS between sizes

Hi all just looking for some advice on sizing. Ideally this wing will be one I keep for hike and fly, and skiing. And eventually I’ll invest in a dedicated XC.

I’m 85kg unclothed. I’ll have a string harness and light weight reserve, so estimate my all up weight with minimal hiking kit to be about 94kg. If I do a more serious hike/climb, or over night camp and fly down, I think it’ll probably be 96-98.

My intention is to use this also with skis when I’m more comfortable. But that is later down the line…and I guess that’ll take me another 10kg higher.

With my intended use initially being hike and fly, with the occasionally over night and fly down (so slightly heavier) would you guys be erring towards the 22 or the 24? I feel like the 24 would be perfect when I have a lot of kit, but a bit soft and slow when just the bare minimum.

I’ve flown another glider which max was 95kg and the same one 105kg max…and I found the 105 very cumbersome and didn’t enjoy turning it. I was probably at the very top if not above the 95kg limit at the time as I had a big harness etc.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Skill/experience wise all things being equal I just won’t fly either one when I’m heavily loaded until I’m ready…so just assume around 95kg take off weight.
