How to flash the English Firmware onto an Rayneo Air 4 Pro Chinese version
Hi everyone! I purchased an Rayneo Air 4 Pro on Aliexpress, its a Chinese Version.
What works:
Going on the official Chinese Website for Rayneo Firmware Updates works flawlessly on Chrome on macOS.
What does not work:
Going on the official English Website for Rayneo Firmware Updates shows the device, shows it can be updates to a newer version, asks for permission, and on the next window an error appears. Now the buttons on the Rayneo do no longer work and I have to go to the Chinese update website to unbrick the Rayneo.
Trying DFU:
When pressing the brightness buttons and immediately (within 3 seconds) pressing the check update button on the English Website, the permission window actually shows the "DFU" suffix. However, when trying to proceed, an error appears immediately and proceeding becomes impossible.
Does anybody know another workaround?
