I think most folks in the south remember Pancho’s Mexican Buffet in the 90s. To signal the waitstaff for refills on drinks or more food (the sopapillas!) you raised a small flag at your table. Always thought it was a fun thing to do. My family ate there on my 6th birthday after seeing the first live action TMNT movie. That’s a great core memory.

Let’s talk about Patrick Ewing and John Thompson. At first I thought what the heck are these guys doing in THIS movie?? Then it hit me. Ewing played basketball at Georgetown in the 80s and Thompson was the coach. Hometown heroes in the movie! The more you know 💫

Sorry if this has been discussed before but as a kid I always assumed Kermit and the gang knew Big Bird, Bert, Grover, etc.
Were they all family or just work friends?
