Cabin Filter

Purchase new off the lot. Truck has 10k miles on it and never seen a gravel road. Smells funny at start up and I thought (still could be) it was antifreeze so I’m trying to hunt it down. Process of elimination after not seeing any leaks. New cabin filter and here’s the original one. WTH…full of old mouse crap but zero signs of one anywhere!

My 2024 F250 has 9,000 miles on it now. When I start it up and turn the ac on, it smells horrible for a few minutes like it may have a coolant leak. No evidence in floorboard though.

Any experiences with this issue on 24 models?

Second thought, I might be smelling antifreeze so it could be heater core
