Front row seat to witnessing “Boring Golf”

Front row seat to witnessing “Boring Golf”

For my mens club this weekend I got paired with a 0.8 & 0.6 handicaps. I’m a 10.4 so I knew this would be very interesting. Well it didn’t disappoint. One guy started 4 under through 4 and eagled the 7. Insane! I showed my buddy this scorecard and he says, imagine shooting a 69 and losing! Haha!

My 82 felt good, but boy are there levels to this game. Makes me want to go practice and play more!

Biggest takeaway from playing w two elite players (I think they’re elite) is they both don’t go for hero shots and just play their game. Neither missed a green inside of 130, not to say they were always by the pin, but they didn’t miss the green, period. And of course both their short games were fantastic.

Reorganization Day

Everything is kept in Sistema tupperdor and one Weller by Cohiba Humidor. I’ve been smoking cigars for over 10 years now and boy does your palate change over time. I used to smoke daily, but now just 1-3 a week. I have a lot of old stuff that I’ve been tapping into and it’s just a joy to smoke cigars you’ve had for many years. It’s also a joy to share them w friends that will appreciate them. Most of these I have had, w the exception of newer releases. I like to let them sit a couple months usually before I get into them, unless I’m at a B&M where I’ll smoke a new release then and there.

Now, the question is, what to smoke later tonight?! Happy smoking and cheers!

Morning cigars don’t have to be Connecticut’s

8:35 tee time and lit up a nice Padron followed up w a Crown Heads Belgian Blue. What can be said about a Padron that’s hasn’t been said… it’s good. Damn good. Belgian Blue is a nice cigar too. Last one from the fiver I picked up late last year.
